Enigma Labs

ENIGMA LABS

I help lead community and brand marketing efforts at Enigma Labs, the first data, research, and community platform dedicated to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), also known as UFOs. My work involves establishing channels for our community to engage with us, managing the feedback pipeline between users and the product team, and leading brand activations.

ECLIPSE DAY ACTIVATION

Enigma likes to align itself with celestial events that the general public is aware of. Part of our mission is to encourage people to look up at the sky more often, and the total solar eclipse in 2024 was a perfect event for us to engage with. We capitalized on this by designing custom eclipse glasses with our tagline ‘Seen a UFO’. I led this activation with the whole team by coordinating street team events in LA, NYC, and Austin, as well as distributing glasses to power users who were in the path of totality. I also worked with our social team to quickly produce a social media piece so we could capitalize on the wave of eclipse content being shared that day.

DISCORD + COMMUNITY EVENTS

I founded the Enigma Discord in the fall of 2023, and it has grown to almost 1,000 users since then. This platform is primarily for our power users interested in providing product feedback, reading credible news on the subject, and connecting with others who have had sighting experiences. I frequently engage with our Discord users on a one-on-one basis to conduct user research interviews and learn what they want from our product and content initiatives. I also program regular discussions within the Discord and on Twitter/X. Our most notable discussion was with Lt. Alex Dietrich, the fighter pilot from the historic Nimitz sighting, who shared her experiences on Twitter Spaces with our Head of Content.
