Friends with benefits

I helped lead the Friends with Benefits (FWB) membership team in 2022-2023. FWB aims to align and convene the creatives, thinkers, and builders using decentralization as an agent of cultural transformation working across URL and IRL events and projects. I led the team to better assess the immediate needs of our membership pool. I helped guide strategy, set community-wide goals for the team, and managed a group of 10+ contributors. Below is a core project I executed end to end in my time there.

FWB WIKI

One of the on-going needs identified by our members was the lack of a reliable ‘source of truth’ for the DAO’s information and documentation. Discord is our primary source of communication, but it serves as a poor archive to look back at things historically and find important messages. Because of this I launched a FWB Wiki in the fall of 2022, a source to answer questions on governance, membership structure, contribution pathways and more. This project involved me compiling documentation across departments and writing 30+ pages of documentation to summarize it for members. I published this project through GitHub to design it to be open-source, this is the first version of the wiki and members are encouraged to iterate upon it and add to it based on their own questions.
